Global Climate Change threatens many bird species

The World Wildlife Fund, a very mainstream species protection group, recently released their report on the impacts of Global Climate Change on birds, and other wildlife. This supports the research from many other groups and scientists that are finding that Global Climate Change is already seriously impacting birds and other wildlife. Additionally, they like others have found that the existence of many species at risk.

"A recent status report compiled for WWF reviews more than 200 scientific articles. It finds a clear and escalating pattern of climate change impacts on bird species around the world, suggesting a trend towards a major bird extinction from global warming. . . . Scientists have found declines of up to 90 per cent in some bird populations, as well as total and unprecedented reproductive failure in others." Read more here .
